More than just a vlogging camera

In terms of specs, the Sony Alpha ZV-E10 sports a 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor in APS-C format with enhanced sensitivity up to ISO 32000 and low noise for crisp image quality. The sensor design also incorporates a fast 425-point hybrid AF system, with real-time eyepiece AF and real-time subject tracking. Other features include specialized shooting modes like Face Priority AE and Soft Skin Effect.

The sensor is also paired with the BIONZ X image processor, resulting in fast 11 fps continuous shooting as well as UHD 4K 30p video recording with full pixel readout and 6K upsampling. HD recording is supported up to 120p with full-time AF and AE and electronic image stabilization. Additionally, S-Log3 gamma can be used for better dynamic range control and easier adjustment of color calibration during post-production.

When it comes to audio recording, the camera comes with a built-in 3-capsule directional microphone and windshield. The multi-interface shoe also supports a digital audio interface, is compatible with a variety of external mics mounted on the multi-interface shoe, and has both 3.5mm mic and headphone ports.

For vlogging, the camera comes with a dedicated background defocus button and product presentation setting. It also has a variable-angle screen that flips to the side for easy front-facing recording.

For connectivity, there is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as support for UVC and UAC standards for use as a webcam by simply connecting the camera to a computer or mobile via USB-C.
